Guid for Authors

Bioagrica guildline for authors

 

Publication policy: The corresponded author must be submited only original manuscript that has not been published (partly or as a whole) before or is not under consideration for publication elsewhere (except as an abstract or as part of a published lecture or academic thesis). Author(s) take the full responsibility for the accuracy of their references.

Submitting Papers: Please register at the journal submission page. If you have any account in the Procedia, please login with same  username and password.

 

Language: Manuscripts must be written in American or British English.

 

Format: The manuscript must be submitted electronically as a Word document (.doc) and a PDF format. Use A4 paper, one column page with 2.5 cm margins around. Please use Times New Roman 12 point  with single line spacing for whole of manuscript.

Tables and figures can be inserted into the main text or added at the end of the manuscript. All tables and figures must be cited in the text as ’Figure 1’, ’Table 1’. Reaction schemes, chemical structures and formulas should be included among the figures numbered consecutively.

 

The order of the manuscripts: title, author(s) and affiliation(s), telephone and fax numbers, e-mail address of the corresponding author(s), abstract, keywords, text, references, legends of figures and tables. The sequences of pages, tables, figures should be numbered with Arabic numerals.

Obviously the literary editor of Bioagrica, carry out all required formating of manuscript as a facilitation for authors.

Title: Title should be concise, informative and representative of the contents of the manuscript.

 

Affiliations:  Full affiliations and postal addresses must be given for all authors. An asterisk should designate the author to whom correspondence should be addressed.

Abstract: There is a 250-words maximum for the body of the abstract. The abstract should comprise a brief review of the contents and the conclusions of the paper.

Keywords: Three to five keywords should be provided directly below the abstract.

 

The main text should include:

  1. Introduction: The purpose of the introduction is to summarize previous work and recent progress in the field briefly and not to repeat information found in previous publications
  2. Materials and methods: The experimental section should provide sufficient detail of the materials, methods and equipment to allow repetition of the work elsewhere, but should not contain excessive detail of commonly used procedures. All data should be given in SI units.
  3. Results: The presentation of experimental detail in the Results & Discussion section should be kept to a minimum. Reiteration of information that is made obvious in tables or figures should be avoided.
  4. Discussion (preferably  with conclusion): If an optional conclusion section is used, its content should not substantially duplicate the abstract.

Headings and subheadings for different sections of the papers should be used and clearly identified. If each section needs to be numbered, a sequence such as 2., 2.1., 2.1.1., etc should be used.

All footnotes (except for table footnotes) should be identified with superscript Arabic numbers.

Equations should be produced using “word equation editor”.

 

Acknowledgement: This section may be used to acknowledge helpful discussion with colleagues, technical assistance, gifts of starting material and reference samples who are not coauthors, and financial support.

 

References:

Citation in Text: The format of references must be uniform and consistent with the instructions below. In the text, a reference identified by means of an author‘s name should be followed by the date of the reference in parentheses. When there are more than two authors, only the first author‘s name should be mentioned, followed by ’et al‘. In the event that an author cited has had two or more works published during the same year, the reference, both in the text and in the reference list, should be identified by a lower case letter like ’a‘ and ’b‘ after the date to distinguish the works.

 Examples:

Smith (2000), Blake et al. (2003), (Kelebeni, 1983), (Chandra and Singh,1992), (Chege, 1998; Steddy, 1987a,b; Gold, 1993,1995), (Kumasi et al., 2001)

 

Bibliography:

Before Formmatting Literature Cited of the references please consider the followings:

*  In the list of references please do not use automatic numbering.

* First give the family name and then the abbreviated given name(s) of the author(s), with dot and space: (Smith A. D.),

* Do not use ’and’ or ’et al.’, give the names of each author (Smith A. D., Small B., Big C.: ),

* Please provide the complete title of publication (title of paper, book, book chapter, standard, patent) in lowercase, only the first letter capital (Title of the paper),

* Please give the complete name of the journal, never use the abbreviated form of it and with capital letters of the initials (Canadian Journal of Basic and Applied Sciences).

Please insert the DOI number (if there is) in separated line in the following format (example): DOI: 00.0000/Journalname.year.volume number. Note that the DOI number is generally displayed in the refereed publication OR it can be found by searching at http://www.crossref.org/SimpleTextQuery/

 

Full reference should be given in a list at the end of the paper in the following form:

Ethics writing: The research must meet all applicable standards for the ethics of experimentation and research integrity.

 

Revising  process: Immediatly (maximum two work days) after submission and primary checking by literary editor, the notification of the process of revising sent to the corresponding via e-mail.


Bioagrica will undertake proofreading of the original manuscript and send galley proofs to corresponding author for final verification.
