ABSTRACT

For a number of causes, people have been floating from place to place since the start of time. Migration is the third element that determines population changes, after birth rate and mortality rate. This occurrence is influenced by economic, social, geographic, and political variables. ’The human species is not a migratory species, but it is a restless one that moves in response to its social, economic, cultural, and ecological surroundings’ (1984). It explains why it is focusing on causes affecting migration in the modern era, as well as how these aspects effects migration. Rapid migration appears to be a result of these causes, which have both positive and bad consequences. In this study, the human migration behaviour was investigated and reviewed in the context of social, political, geographical, and economic factors. This research and evaluation of the literature provides insight into migratory behaviour as it is influenced by geo-economics, psychosocial, and political aspects, as well as the good and bad effects on people. Furthermore, this research shows that migration leads to the formation of a multi-ethnic community, as well as an improvement in cultural understanding and tolerance. This procedure results in new or revitalised services. People from various geographical and economic backgrounds will promote the spread of new ideas and the study of new languages, assisting people in developing skills for working in various parts of the world/country. However, this section of literature goes on to say that the majority of people are forced out of their communities because they don’t have enough possibilities to live a pleasant life and are dealing with various psychosocial issues.
