Adopting and implementing information technology is one of the methods that applies a distinct competitive personality to companies and the supply chain. Embracing information technology and its efficient implementation can improve cooperation between supply chain members through the rapid transfer and distribution of accurate information and the use of information systems and increase supply chain efficiency. To better understand the issue, a look is taken at the importance and role of information in the supply chain and the supply chain characteristics with the information flow approach.
