ABSTRACT
Quality control of scintillation cameras starts with acceptance testing of the system. This article reviews some of the routine quality control (QC) procedures for current nuclear medicine instrumentation especially SPECT/CT that interface directly with patients. Three different procedures have been described in this review including uniformity test, spatial resolution test, and center of rotation test.
