ABSTRACT

In this paper, the destruction and removal of a direct Reactive Red 141 dye was carried out using nanoparticles of titanium dioxide under ultraviolet light (UV12W). In this research, the effect of parameters of UV irradiation time and pH on the amount of removing and color degradation have been investigated. The results indicate that, with increasing radiation time, the percentage of degradation increases and with increasing pH the percentage of degradation is reduced. In order to determine the percentage of degradation, an absorption spectrophotometer was used.
